Mark Tracey, JP

Audit & Risk Committee member

Mr. Mark Tracey is the CEO and Managing Director of First in Line Entertainment Limited, First in Line Plus Streaming and founder of Bargainsjam.

Mr. Tracey is a former Corporate Manager at Jamaica Money Market Brokers. He has also served as a Project Executive of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica’s Access to Finance Facilitation Panel programme.

In 2002, Mr. Tracey joined the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) and in 2011 he was seconded from the BOJ to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative Office in Jamaica, where he served Financial Economist for three (3) years.

In 2017 Mr. Tracey was appointed as Senior Economic Advisor to the Minister of Finance, monitoring Jamaica’s Precautionary Standby Arrangement with the IMF and the implementation of the financial inclusion strategy and public sector rationalization programme.

Mr. Tracey is a Director of the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) and Operation Restoration that operates a youth programme in Trench Town and also serves as a Committee member for other Public Bodies.

He holds a BSc in Economics and Political Science and a Masters in Economics, both from the University of the West Indies. He also holds a certification in Financial Programming and Policies from the IMF Institute in Vienna, Austria.

Mr. Tracey was first co-opted to the Audit and Risk Committee in January 2017.
