PAJ is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of cruise ports across the island. There are five (5) cruise port facilities :

  • Port of Montego Bay 
  • Historic Port of Falmouth
  • Port of Ocho Rios 
  • Ken Wright Pier and the adjoining Errol Flynn Marina in Port Antonio, Portland
  • Historic Naval Dockyard in Port Royal

Port of Montego Bay

The Port of Montego Bay is one of the main cruise ship terminals in Jamaica, serving as a gateway for travelers to explore the island’s scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage. Located on the northwestern coast, it’s a bustling hub that caters to both luxury liners and smaller vessels, offering easy access to Montego Bay’s famous beaches, historical sites, and adventure activities.

Historic Port of Falmouth

The Port of Falmouth has been revitalized to accommodate modern cruise ships, bringing a blend of old-world charm and modern facilities. Visitors disembarking here can enjoy the Artisan Village along with a combination of historical exploration and contemporary attractions. The Artisan Village at Falmouth offers a vibrant marketplace experience, with handmade items such as wood carvings, paintings, jewelry, and textiles. It’s a significant cultural hub where tourists can purchase high-quality, locally produced goods while interacting with the artists themselves.

Port of Ocho Rios

The Port of Ocho Rios, located on Jamaica’s northern coast, is one of the island’s busiest cruise ports, known for its natural beauty, adventure activities, and cultural experiences. Ken Wright Pier & the adjoining Errol Flynn Marina, Portland

The Ken Wright Pier and the adjoining Errol Flynn Marina are key landmarks in Port Antonio, located in the parish of Portland, Jamaica. Adjacent to the Ken Wright Pier is the Errol Flynn Marina, named after the legendary Hollywood actor Errol Flynn, who famously made Port Antonio his home in the 1940s. The marina is a world-class facility, known for its capacity to dock yachts and other large vessels, making it a popular stop for high-end travelers. It is regarded as one of the best marinas in the Caribbean, featuring a wide range of amenities, including:

Historic Naval Dockyard in Port Royal

The Historic Naval Dockyard in Port Royal, Jamaica, is a significant remnant of the island’s rich maritime history. The dockyard, along with Fort Charles and other historical sites in Port Royal, has been restored and opened to the public as part of Jamaica’s heritage tourism. Visitors can explore the remains of the dockyard, view exhibits and learn about Jamaica’s colonial naval history and its role in the wider Caribbean.
